Lumen
Lumen is a completely new and different way to present all kind of content. Entering Lumen the user finds himself within a combination of the real and a virtual world.
The virtual world can be filled with all kind of objects. These objects can be discovered without an complicated interface: the interaction is based on natural movement, using nothing more than an ordinary source of light. It is used for lighting the room and making the objects cast shadows on the walls. Of course, the virtual elements are invisible – but their shadows behave like they would do in the real world.
In this case, Lumen is filled with virtual cubes containing movie clips. The user can reveal their content by entering the cubes with the lamp: the movie clips are then projected onto the walls of the installation.
